How wonderful it will be to see you all once again; to gather together, to break bread, to share stories that have been left unshared for nearly two years. Can't wait! 

This Spring, as we kick off our supper club series for 2022, we are heading to a restaurant that has been on my supper club radar for at least a year. The food is incredible, the ambience sublime and it is hands down one of my favorite Greek restaurants in our region.

Nostos is at the root of the word nostalgia and means a return to one’s origins, a longing for a special time in our past. Nostos presents a fresh, modern take on Greek culinary culture.

With this philosophy in mind, featured are wonderful and traditional dishes like fresh fish from the Mediterranean Sea, such as branzino, dorado and sardines, seasoned with extra virgin Greek olive oil. In addition, they offer a wide variety of “mezedes”, or small sharing-sized dishes, which are an integral part of Greek dining and reflect the idea that eating is about sharing and socializing.

 

As with all our past suppers, we bring together a selection of the best plates so that everyone enjoys a taste of the incredible variety offered. Whether to pair with food or simply for the pleasure of your palate, we enjoy our meal with wines from Greece, a country where Dionysus, the mythical god of wine, has been worshipped for thousands of years.

As we graze over delicious eats bursting with fresh flavors, let's toast over a cocktail and enjoy a lovely Saturday evening over our food-laden table in the warm company of old friends and new.

Our evening will begin with a Cocktail hour in the bar for 30 mins where small bites will be served like swordfish skewers and tapenade & feta on pita followed by a sit down dinner of 8 courses + a selection of desserts.

OUR SUPPER
Upon arrival, we will gather in the bar area of a drink, to hob nob with old fruiends and new and enjoy some nibbles. After, we will be seated at our table in a private dining area. Get comfortable, relax and soak in the sights and sounds of this dynamic restaurant. Share conversations with new & old found friends and feel your cares slip away as you relax over good food and wine.
 
Family style dishes featuring the Chefs signature brunch creations served as small plates, meant to be shared around the table will be served. These small plate creations will showcase a plethora of flavors and ingredients; meat, fish and vegetarian. if you're picky, no worries, just pass.

FETA SAGANAKI, Fried sesame crusted feta topped with organic Greek honey and almonds

 

BIFTEKAKIA, Greek style beef meatballs served with tzatziki

HORIATIKI, the authentic greek salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, kalamata olives, onions and capers 

LAVRAKI - BRANZINO, whole Mediterranean bass, white moist tender flakes, delicate, mild flavor

 

HTAPODI, grilled octopus served with fava puree, topped with onions°

 

KALAMARAKIA TIGANITA, fried calamari served with seafood based tomato sauce 15

 

PULPO, charred octopus with cold smoked mussels, salsa macha, pickled papaya, charred avocado

We are a group of unpretentious foodies. Some of us are in our 50's, some in our 70's and all of us have been there and done that! So if you need to show your ID, you're probably too young to attend. Sorry!

 

No matter who you are, please do bring your humor, unique style,  an open-

mindedness to varied cultures and your culinary sense of adventure.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

All sales are final and we will only refund the monies if the event is canceled.

FOR OUR ALUMNI ONLY:

If you've attended any of our events or tours in the past and cannot attend the supper club event due to an emergency, please notify us via email at the soonest. We will credit your account for the cost of your ticket (minus any N/R credit card processing fees). Your credit can be used at any of our upcoming supper club events during the year. Your spot will then be released to the next person on the waitlist.
